Yuxiao Ni（Sophie）出生在美丽的波斯湾明珠-科威特，她在中国度过了愉快的童年时光，直到11岁。目前，她是Crofton House School八年级的学生。她五岁开始学习钢琴，很快就表现出色并在许多比赛中获得大奖。2020年，她在伯牙钢琴艺术节全国总决赛中获得了特等奖第一名，组委会特地赠予她一架立式钢琴作为奖品。
2022年，她和她的父母、弟弟搬到了温哥华，在这里继续学习钢琴。在过去的三年里，Sophie取得了非凡的成绩。

2023年，Sophie参加了意大利-Casalmaggiore国际音乐节。她的才华在中国、加拿大、意大利和美国的多个著名场馆得到了展示。
自2023年加入VYPC以来，Sophie一直致力于通过慈善音乐活动和筹款活动回馈社区。2023年，她参加了VYPC为狮门医院科技革新项目筹款的圣诞慈善音乐会。
Yuxiao Ni (Sophie) was born in the beautiful Pearl of the Persian Gulf - Kuwait. She spent a happy childhood in China until she was 11 years old. Currently, she is an eighth grade student at Crofton House School. She started learning piano at the age of five and soon performed well and won prizes in many competitions. In 2020, she won the first prize in the national finals of the Boya Piano Art Festival, and the organizing committee specially presented her with an upright piano as a prize.
In 2022, she moved to Vancouver with her parents and younger brother to continue studying piano here. In the past three years, Sophie has achieved extraordinary results.
In 2025, she was selected as one of the 40 contestants in the intermediate group of the 6th Canadian Chopin Piano Competition (online preliminaries), won the first prize at the GOCAA International Piano Competition (BC), and won the second place in the 2025 CMC-BC competition.
In 2024, she won 2nd Prize at the Gustav Mahler Institute Prague Piano Competition, 1st Prize at the Vivas International Piano Competition North American Finals, 1st Prize at the Steinway SSP International Music Festival for Soloists and Performers, 1st Prize at the GOCAA International Piano Competition, and the highest platinum award at the Berlioz International Music Competition.
In 2023, Sophie participated in the Italy-Casalmaggiore International Music Festival. Her talents have been showcased in several prestigious venues in China, Canada, Italy, and the United States.
Since joining VYPC in 2023, Sophie has been committed to giving back to the community through charity music events and fundraisers. In 2023, she participated in VYPC's Christmas Charity Concert to raise funds for the Lions Gate Hospital Technology Innovation Project.
